Today I was speaking with someone who understands my point of view of this great nation of ours. We've given up on the youth.
Back in the day there were sharks, guppies and minnows in the pool of life.
Now everyone has to have their own little group of insecurities so they can be special.
Today, children are being taught by their families that it's okay to shoot for the middle. The middle doesn't exist any more. Aim high, then if you slip it can be recovered.
People are stuck to their smart phones which are a whole lot smarter than the idiot using it. . How does Google know the rest of my sentence when searching a particular subject? Scary.
Instant gratification is a poor excuse for working hard. Parents, teach your sons how to drive a nail with a hammer. He will never forget.
When all of us retire (really?), who will paint our walls, fix our plumbing or build our decks?
Watch the movie "Idiocracy" some time. We're headed in that direction, quickly.
