Call Me Crazy ...

Call me crazy, but something is about to happen...


I don't know what, where or when it will happen.   Something isn't right.   Maybe it's that I am seeing things with a different point of view.


The economy is about to bust.   Why?  Because the numbers are all on paper.   We don't have a gold standard, silver standard or even a pineapple standard.   There is nothing to back our goods and services.


Over ninety percent of the wealth of this country and the world, is in the cloud.  Where is this "cloud"?   I keep looking up and  see nothing.   When will  our leaders tell us that  it's all a game?  Or, maybe this is a really bad dream.


Where is George Carlin when we need him?   Maybe he's in the cloud!  Now, that would be funny!  Maybe he's looking down saying "Dumb-asses".


I see protesters in the media and on the internet.   (Everything you read on the internet is true.)   That's why the system works so well.


Every group has an hidden purpose.   Whether it is retailer, research facility or protesters.   It's PROFIT.   We profit off the backs of the ignorant, in the name of doing good.   If you protest, it will make the news.  Even a bad story gets attention.  Tell me how you are going to stop diabetes or breast cancer with walks or cycling events?  We do those things so we have an avenue to build our spirits so we think we are doing some trememdous "good."  In that case, just send your favorite charity/cause a check and be over with it.  Having events creates a psychological feeling of well-being.  With that great feeling of well-being, you'll repeat the same activity again.  For more MONEY!


Curing a disease does not create profit.  Enormous amount of  "money"  are spent researching a particular disease or why you prefer one brand of catsup over the other.   Make the numbers fit the program.  Then I'll sell you my findings and we both make money. 


We've lost the battle of intelligence.   People see no further than the television, computer screen or their phone.   Why don't we ask why?   Why don't we look for the common good instead of what's in it for me?  If you cure it, they will come.  Sadly, the big pharmacy corporations will have the patent for the cure and it's going be a long time before that cure sees daylight.


Stop protesting.  It won't help.   Others have gone down this road.  Go home and be nice to someone, maybe a stanger.  You don't have any power because the numbers are bigger than you. It's time to give up.  The rules are not written in your favor. 


We cannot change the cards we get, so play the hand you have been dealt.  You win some, you lose some.  The goal should be to try to break even. 


Then again, I'm getting older, crankier and some days just don't give a crap .
